Frequently Asked Questions

Once I submit my loan payment online through Midwest Bank online or mobile banking, when will my payment go through?

A loan payment made through online banking or mobile banking will be effective the next banking day unless a future dated payment is selected.

Can I make my loan payment through the Midwest Bank mobile app?

The Midwest Bank App allows you to see your current loan balance, payoff amount, and next payment date. You also have the option to proceed with making your next scheduled payment or payoff the loan entirely.

Can I be reminded when I have an upcoming payment due?

You have the ability to send yourself notifications reminding you of your future loan payments prior to the scheduled payment date. Likewise, if payments are not set up automatically, you should receive a notice prior to payment date via mail.

Can I set up automatic payments?

Any loan payments can be made automatically, and payments can be made from either a Midwest Bank account, or an account held at another institution. To set up your current payments automatically, speak to your local Midwest Bank location.

What is an energy loan?

A home energy loan is a type of loan designed specifically to finance energy-efficient home improvements or renewable energy upgrades. These loans are intended to help homeowners make their homes more energy-efficient, reduce energy consumption, and lower utility bills. Common home energy improvements financed through such loans include the installation of solar panels, energy-efficient windows, insulation, HVAC upgrades, and other eco-friendly enhancements.
