In her current role as Retail Banking Manager, Alex helps oversee the day-to-day activities in the bank, assists Spanish-speaking customers with their banking needs, and manages the Customer Service Representatives at the Norfolk Main branch. Alex is also a part of several committees within the bank and brings fun to the Norfolk branch! When you ask Alex to describe her favorite memory from working at Midwest Bank, she says, “The phone call offering me the position of Retail Banking Manager.”

At Midwest Bank, we take pride in building relationships with our clients, coworkers, and communities. We asked Alex to explain the best part about working at Midwest Bank, and she said, “They care about my family.” She goes on to talk about working at a community bank where we know our customers and their families.

In her spare time, Alex enjoys spending time with her family, including her husband and son! She loves cheering on the Dodgers and watching NCIS. Her favorite line from a movie is “Me siento muy…excited” from Selena. Her dream vacation would be visiting Greece and Ireland, but when it comes time for retirement, she just wants to live in the area she grew up in.

Alex describes Midwest Bank as welcoming, honest, and future-focused. She goes on to explain that if someone were wanting to switch to Midwest, she would tell them, “We have the customers’ best interest in mind.” As a community bank, we believe that if it matters to you, it matters to us. We show that every day when serving our clients, businesses, and community.
