Meet Julie at Midwest Bank. Julie is a Retail Banking Manager at our Deshler branch and has worked at Midwest Bank for seven years. She grew up right there in Deshler after high school graduation she attended Joseph’s School of Cosmetology. Julie started as a customer service representative and worked her way to her current role as Retail Banking Manager.
Before coming to Midwest Bank, Julie owned her own business for ten years and worked in a variety of roles at different local businesses in the area. Julie enjoys working with customers each and every day and loves knowing everyone by their name! When you come into the branch in Deshler, you’re truly treated like family.
We asked Julie what the best part of working at Midwest Bank was and she replied, “My coworkers!” And if she had to describe Midwest Bank in just three words, she said, “Personal, professional, and inviting.” Julie sums it up so very well. No matter the branch you visit, whether it’s Deshler or Lincoln, Pierce or Norfolk, we have staff that truly believe in our mission and values and we’re proud of that.
We know you, your family, your business, personally. You may be our customer, but really, each of us is probably your customer too! That’s what small-town community banking is all about.
In her spare time, Julie loves spending time with her family, including her dad, sister, brother, sister-in-law, nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews! She loves cheering on the Deshler Dragons and of course, the Huskers! And we asked Julie to share her hidden talent with us. She replied, “It’s so hidden, I still haven’t found it!” And when it comes time to retire, we asked Julie where she wanted to go. She said, “Right here in Deshler”. Now, that’s a true hometown girl.
And finally, we asked Julie what makes a community bank so special. She replied, “We know you, your family, your business, personally. You may be our customer, but really, each of us is probably your customer too! That’s what small-town community banking is all about.”
Yes, it is.
