Meet Julie at Midwest Bank. Julie is a Personal Banker at our branch in Plainview, Nebraska. Julie has been with Midwest Bank for seven years. She grew up on a farm in between Schuyler and Howells and after high school graduation, Julie attended Southeast Community College followed by the University of Nebraska – Lincoln to get a degree in Agribusiness.

Julie started her career with Midwest Bank at our Norfolk branch as a Customer Service Representative. She later transferred to the Plainview branch and has worked her way into her current role as a Personal Banker. She enjoys helping clients open new accounts, process transactions, and answer questions.

People should choose Midwest Bank as their main bank because we care about our customers, they become part of our family, especially in a small town. We really take the time to get to know you on a personal basis.

Julie is married to her husband Garth, they have one son and live on a farm near Brunswick, Nebraska. Julie enjoys farm life because there is always something to do and never a dull moment! In her spare time, she enjoys gardening and being outside. She loves country music, cheering on the Nebraska Volleyball team, and chocolate is definitely her guilty pleasure.

When asked what the best thing is about working at Midwest Bank, Julie answered, “The people I work with. I enjoy coming to work every day because of my coworkers. We get along really well and are a great team!” And if she had to describe Midwest Bank in three words, she said, “Trustworthy. Family-Oriented. Caring”. We couldn’t agree more, Julie.

Julie also explained if someone was thinking about switching banks or finding a new one, why they should choose Midwest Bank. “People should choose Midwest Bank as their main bank because we care about our customers, they become part of our family, especially in a small town. We really take the time to get to know you on a personal basis.” Community banks are special, it’s about more than completing transactions, it’s about building relationships. That’s at the core of everything we do here at Midwest Bank.
