Midwest Bank is excited to announce that we’re partnering with Nebraska softball player, Jordy Bahl.
Our partnership with Jordy is based on our shared beliefs related to family and community, doing what’s right no matter what, and showing up for those around you, in the good times and the tough times.
Although this softball season may not have started off the way anyone envisioned it, we’re incredibly impressed with Jordy, her character, her talent, her values, and the way she handles adversity.
Community means something different to everyone, but for college athletes like Jordy, it means a little more when you’re able to return home and play ball in your home state.
Jordy is a Papillion native, returning home to Nebraska after two years at Oklahoma. She helped lead the Sooners to win back-to-back national championships, was named a first-team All-American, National Player of Year Top 10 Finalist, and the Big 12 Pitcher of the Year in each of her two seasons at Oklahoma.
This year, Jordy suffered a season-ending injury on opening day for Nebraska, but has persevered through the adversity, deciding to red shirt this year and committed to come back next year, stronger and more determined than even before.
