About Midwest Bank

Midwest Bank has a strong tradition of family, initiative, integrity, and community. And at the center of it all, is building relationships.

Our Mission

To build strong relationships that inspire successful individuals, businesses, and communities.

Our Vision

Service builds relationships. Through our dedication to excellent personalized service, your experience here will be exceptional.

What matters to us

Family

Much like a family shares more than their last name, our employees share more than a common paycheck. Midwest Bank is committed to exemplifying our family-owned roots with a culture of respect and support among our employees, their families, and our clients.

Initiative

At Midwest Bank, we understand that corporate and individual success is achievable through each employee taking the initiative when the opportunity arises. Initiative is the match that lights our success; it's not just identifying problems but also recommending solutions. Ultimately, an employee never limits themselves to their job description.

Integrity

At Midwest Bank, we expect our team to display integrity for themselves, their fellow employees, and their clients by always "doing the right thing." Integrity gives Midwest Bank its structure, investing in the future rather than in the moment. Most importantly, it is the choice between what is convenient and what is right.

Community

Midwest Bank has a heart for our community and service woven into our culture at our core. Our existence is only because of the people we serve; therefore, we believe in improving the places we live and work through our actions. In the context of their role, we encourage each employee to be a contributing member of their community.

#MidwestMakesADifference

Your Community. Your Bank.

Whether you're from Deshler or Creighton, Lincoln or Pilger, our Midwest Bank branch staff are proud to call the communities we serve "home." Whether it's a holiday open house, customer appreciation BBQ, or meals in the fields during harvest, we love the time we spend getting to know our clients and our neighbors.

#MidwestMakesADifference

Go Big Red!

Supporting our communities and supporting our favorite teams and players is something that all of our branches truly enjoy. We love cheering on our local high school and college teams. It's extra special for us when we can cheer on the players and support their families that are from the communities we live in and serve.

#MidwestMakesADifference

Supporting Schools and Community Organizations

Through the Jim B. & Lillian F. Cooper Foundation Grant, communities served by Midwest Bank can receive grants to support their local non-profit organizations. We're proud to be a part of a family-owned bank that is focused on giving back and making a difference.
