Midwest Bank is excited to host the 5th Annual Christmas on Cooper Drive on Thursday, December 4th, from 4:00-7:00 pm. The public is invited to kick off the Christmas season with a drive-thru experience at Midwest Bank’s main location at 2601 West Cooper Drive in Norfolk.
“There’s something magical about the holiday season, and at Midwest Bank, we’re honored to help bring that magic to life for kids in our community with Christmas on Cooper Drive for the fifth year in a row. Our staff loves hosting this free event for the Norfolk area, and we look forward to it every year,” said Jason Love, Norfolk Market President.
Children are encouraged to fill out our Santa letter or write their own with their Christmas wishes and bring it to the Christmas on Cooper Drive event. Children who turn in a completed letter with their return address will receive a special response from Santa! Printed copies of the letter can be picked up at Midwest Bank’s Main Branch (2601 W. Cooper Drive, Norfolk), Midtown Branch (506 S. 13th St., Ste. 300, Norfolk), or Pierce Branch (114 W. Main St., Pierce). It can also be downloaded from the Midwest Bank website.
The event will feature beloved characters from The Polar Express, Frozen, Buddy the Elf, Mrs. Claus, and the Grinch. The main attraction will feature Santa Claus with a station for kids to drop off their letters and talk to Santa. All the stations offer photo opportunities as well as some special surprises and treats.
This event is free and open to the public. To accommodate increased traffic, a new route to the event entrance will be utilized this year. Below is the map of the new route to enter the event.
