BOULDER, COLO. – (September 8, 2025) Midwest Bank is proud to announce Jordan Rathke and John Connor’s graduation from the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado (GSBC), a nationally recognized leadership development program for community bankers. Rathke and Connor completed a rigorous 25-month curriculum designed to prepare rising leaders to make bold, strategic decisions that benefit their institutions and communities.

Rathke and Conner were among 175 students honored during a graduation ceremony held July 24 on the University of Colorado Boulder campus. GSBC’s Annual School Session, hosted each July, immerses students in three consecutive years of classroom learning paired with six real-world intersession projects. Each student’s final project addresses a strategic opportunity or challenge unique to their organization, bringing immediate value back to the communities they serve.

Rathke’s career with Midwest Bank began in October 2020. Jordan is a Vice President/Loan Officer and specializes in commercial lending, helping local businesses in York and the surrounding communities. Connor’s career with Midwest Bank began in January 2022. John is a Vice President/Loan Officer specializing in commercial lending in the Lincoln community and the surrounding area.

The 2025 Session marked GSBC’s 74th year, welcoming nearly 500 students from across the country. The 75th Annual School Session will be held July 19–31, 2026 in Boulder, Colorado. To learn more or begin planning your GSBC journey, visit www.GSBColorado.org.
