Steven started his career with Midwest Bank as a loan administration representative. After about six months, he moved into his current role. As a Mortgage Loan Officer, Steven really enjoys getting to help clients purchase their first home, their next home, their forever home, or even build their dream home. It’s a process that he’s happy to be a part of, answering questions along the way, and celebrating with his clients when the process is complete.

When Steven isn’t working, he spends time with his family, his wife, Cassie, and their three young kiddos. He also enjoys golfing, grilling, and cheering on the Huskers and Kansas City Chiefs. His favorite place to visit is any all-inclusive resort with a beach, he dreams of meeting Patrick Mahomes someday, and if he could learn to do anything, he’d like to learn to be a pilot. We asked Steven his hidden talent, he replied, “Sleeping through kids crying at night.” We’re sure his wife Cassie appreciates this…

Steven explains what it’s like to work at Midwest Bank, “There is something different happening every day. And each day is always filled with laughter. My coworkers have really turned into a second family for me.” Responses like that demonstrate what makes our bank so special. It’s one of the core values that make us who we are, Family. And when asked what his favorite Midwest Bank memory was. Steven said, “Our Midwest Bank employee golf outings are always a fun time.”

“It’s all about the personal relationships with the people you see out in the community. You know us because we proudly support the schools, we volunteer for local groups, and we help out where we can.”

As a community bank, we pride ourselves on creating connections with our clients. We asked Steven why someone should consider a community bank when choosing a bank. He explains, “It’s all about the personal relationships with the people you see out in the community. You know us because we proudly support the schools, we volunteer for local groups, and we help out where we can.” Community banks are special, we focus on building relationships and supporting communities.

When asked to describe Midwest Bank in three words, Steven said “Family. Community. Trust”.

Well said.
