Meet Juan at Midwest Bank. He is a Treasury Services/Cash Management Representative at our Norfolk Main Branch. Juan grew up in Valencia, Venezuela before coming to the United States and eventually ending up in Nebraska. Juan has worked with small businesses for over 18 years in the banking industry and in economic development. Early in Juan’s career, he was an advocate for small businesses on Capitol Hill.

In his current role in the Treasury Management department, Juan handles everything related to business banking. Whether you need a new account, wire transfer, business online banking, or POS systems, Juan is happy to assist business clients with their needs. Juan is bilingual and has a passion for helping the Spanish-speaking community in the Norfolk area. Each day is different and fun, and that’s what makes working at Midwest Bank so great.

In his spare time, Juan loves cooking. If Juan could learn anything, he would like to learn more about cooking and would probably try different Italian recipes. He would also love to visit Italy and wants to retire somewhere south with no cold weather. If Juan was a wrestler or professional athlete, his entrance theme song would be The Final Countdown.

When asked to describe Midwest Bank in just three words, Juan said, “simply the best.” And when we asked him what the best part is about working at Midwest Bank, he easily replied, “The culture.” Our employees take tremendous pride in the culture we create in each of our branches.

Juan explains what sets Midwest Bank apart from all the other banks. He says, “Midwest Bank really cares about their customers, employees, and the community. Banks can offer similar products and services, but our customer service is one of the best!
