Meet Abbey at Midwest Bank. Abbey currently works as a Retail Specialist in our Lincoln branch and has been with the bank for about a year and a half. She grew up in Pierce, Nebraska, graduated from Pierce High School, and then attended and graduated from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln.

In her current role, Abbey helps clients with their daily banking transactions, including making deposits, answering questions, or opening a new account. Abbey can help clients find the right products and services to meet their financial needs and help them reach their goals. When we asked Abbey what the best part was about working at Midwest Bank, she replied, “The best thing about working here is the people and the culture.”

At Midwest Bank, we take the time and effort to show our customers you can trust us. We give the small-town community bank feeling across all of our branches.

When Abbey isn’t at work, she loves spending time with her friends and family, along with her dog, Nala. She also loves cheering on the Cornhuskers, is currently binge-watching The Summer I Turned Pretty, and something that not everyone knows about Abbey is that she used to play the saxophone. Her dream vacation would be anywhere with a beach, and if you want to tempt Abbey with a guilty pleasure, offer her some cheesecake. Same, Abbey, same.

We asked Abbey what sets Midwest Bank apart from other banks in Lincoln. She replied, “At Midwest Bank, we take the time and effort to show our customers you can trust us. We give the small-town community bank feeling across all of our branches.” It’s reassuring to know that no matter which branch you enter, our mission and values are the same and always at the forefront of everything we do.

And finally, when asked to share with us three words to describe Midwest Bank, she said,

“Welcoming. Kind. Trustworthy.”

And if you’re not getting that from your current bank, see us at Midwest Bank. We’ll show you there is a difference between us and those other guys.
