Personal Banker | Lincoln

Are you an experienced professional in retail banking with a passion for building strong client relationships? Our Lincoln team is seeking a skilled Personal Banker to join our team and play a pivotal role in our deposit portfolio.

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide exceptional & knowledgeable customer service.
  • Maintain a positive attitude to effectively communicate with others by phone and in person.
  • Open new accounts: DDA, Savings, Certificates of Deposit, IRA’s, & HSA’s.
  • Cross-sell additional products when opening new accounts: Online Banking, ATM & Debit cards, Credit Cards, ID Protect Plus, Safety Deposit Box as well as informing the customer of our other services such as our loan products and financial services.
  • Process customer transactions, including receiving deposits, verifying cash, issuing receipts, making withdrawals and cashing checks.
  • Performs bank operations and security functions by properly inputting data for account transactions, handling cash drawer and vault transactions, managing cash levels and participation in dual-control functions (night depository, mail deposits and ATM transactions).
  • Available to work fluctuating hours, including Saturdays, and as the need arises, to cover for other employees on vacation or in their absence
  • Participate with other bank staff in customer and prospect calls.
  • Attend banking schools and seminars as required to maintain knowledge of bank products, policies and procedures and compliance.
  • Complete special projects, as assigned

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • Must have at least 2 years in banking, finance, or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of banking products.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and deposit targets.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and banking programs/software.
  • Familiarity with compliance requirements and industry best practices.
  • Strong ethical values and commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.

Relationships:

  • Responsible to the Retail Banking Manager and/or Market President for the fulfillment of functions and job responsibilities.
  • Will have extensive contact with customers, the public and the community and is to conduct relationships in a manner that will enhance the overall image and reputation of the bank.

Loan Processor | Norfolk

Are you detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about supporting a team that helps customers achieve their financial goals? Join our team as a Loan Processor and play a vital role in ensuring smooth and accurate loan operations.

What You’ll Do:

  • Process personal and commercial loan documentation with precision and timeliness.
  • Enter and review loan data in banking systems (Compliance One and Premier).
  • Verify loan approvals and commitments, ensuring compliance with bank policies.
  • Obtain and manage underwriting documents, credit reports, lien positions, and tax information.
  • Maintain virtual loan files and ensure completeness of scanned documentation.
  • Handle escrow accounts, including insurance and tax payments, disclosures, and payouts.
  • Prepare denials, modifications, and amendments as needed.
  • Collaborate with Loan Processing Administrator and Compliance Officer to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Communicate professionally with customers and team members while safeguarding confidential information.

Loan Services Specialist | Norfolk

Are you detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about supporting efficient loan operations? We’re looking for a Loan Services Specialist to join our team and play a key role in maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance, and supporting the administration of loan services.

What You’ll Do:

  • Monitor daily loan reports and reconcile general ledger accounts.
  • Review new loan notes for accuracy and completeness.
  • Process participation transactions and maintain Suntell loan management systems.
  • Release UCC and EFS filings, terminate flood determinations, and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines.
  • Provide support and training to branch personnel on operations and procedures.
  • Lead and facilitate loan services meetings and assist with departmental initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and provide exceptional customer support when needed.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong ethical values and commitment to confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and loan management systems (Suntell experience preferred).
